  • Let's Go Celtics
Give me Zeno at 60.  Similar to Giddens and Allen.  Let them fight it out for the one spot on this team for athletic wingman.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

  • The good ole days.
Chalmers ... not bad for Minny. Whaddya think, Big Ticket?

I think I liked it a lot.... until they just traded him for 2 future 2nd rounders.  Why trade a 2nd round pick that has 1st round talent for 2 later 2nd round picks?

I guess they're pretty loaded at guard now, but he could've been a better prospect than any outside of Mayo and Foye.

Yeah, I couldn't understand that move.

Congrats for grabbing Pekovic.

Was it Miami that nabbed Chalmers in the end?

That's a nice piece of business for them. Chalmers could be a starting point guard next to a ball-happy playmaking two guard like Wade. With his shooting ability and defense I can see him starting for Miami next season.

That's a nice start - Chalmers/Wade/Marion/Beasley - all can shoot, dribble, drive. That'll be tough to defend against. Now they need to find themselves a competent center.

Yup ... I was a bit surprised at that, too ... I can see the rationalization, I guess, I just don't agree with it. I think they could have made a couple of much wiser moves.

Front page board should be updated through pick #60 and includes trades.

TPs will be gladly accepted.

Maybe its because I'm a firm believer in the fact that the past does not equal the future.

Maybe it's because I've been through 750mL of 101 proof Wild Turkey tonight with a friend I haven't seen in ages.

None the less I'm happy with the outcome and glad I could hear at least one time an NBA official say the Boston Celtics were included in a trade.

The whole thing feels good I hate that I have to wait a whole 'nother year to do it all again.

P.S. It too me like two hours to write this post. I'm awfully tore up right now.
