BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Thanks Redz for what in my opinion is the funniest and most fun threads we've had on CB maybe ever. I think the winner was well chosen too. FLCeltsFan was clearly deserving of the title. No one else was even close really.

Thanks Bob.  I was doing some legit giggling at some of the posts in this thread.  I just went back through it quickly and saw that I'd missed nick's gem.

I say we switch the Mister's to Ms.'s, and teh King to Queen and let FL go to it!

Does the winner get an actual sash made out of TP?
Of course he does Roy. Then he has to parade down the aisle waving his hand while holding a basketball while Big Baby sings:

"There he is, Mr. Celticsblog.
There he is, our TP Hog.
The dream of a million fans,
who are more than diehard
Can come true if you suck up enough.
For you may turn out to be,
the King of Tommy Points!!!!

There he is, Mr. Celticsblog.
There he is, our TP Hog."
Yup

The election results came in after I had logged off.

It was fixed I tell ya fixed!!!  Not that I have any problem with it being fixed, I just wish it was fixed in my direction.

I need to go to the library and check out the Richard Daley Election handbook or the David Stern Lottery Handbook and learn how to participate better.  The key lesson I have taken away from this is to tell my children, "Do as I say, not as I do"!!!!
I love my kids, call me a sap - it's true.

Edgar, I will give you an attaboy and a Tommy Point just for being you!

Thank you, thank you!  I will do my best to live up to this honor  and I will strive for world peace along with a Celtics' repeat title!!

You are all too kind.  (Now if I could find an evening gown with shamrocks and Lucky on it, I would be all set)

Oh Yeah, and a TP for Redz for running the pageant and giving us all a lot of fun!!

I concur -- a TP for Redz.  Great laughs!!

Hmmmm, all the winners were site mods or major contributor for threads.

Was this "pageant" voting held in Florida??

Let's take a look.

FL is under TPed for her work.

Everyone just loves Roy (such he is 400 TPs ahead of everyone else)

Edgar is the sites official greeter and unofficial 'happy birthday' guy.   Plus, he has the best coffee.

I figured my 'might change my Sig' would have been bigger after the different request I have gotten about it.

Seriously, wd said it right FL is the deserving winner because Fl is definitely without a doubt, the most under TP'ed contributor this site has.

Congrats, girl?

Uh, oh!! That writer in "Sota isn't gonna call me a intellectually deprived sexist now, is she? ;) ;D

You know, I just got into work, and on the way in I was thinking of this very thing.  I'll set up a "non-staff" prize at some point today.  Probably sooner than later ;)

And BTW Nick, I did truly enjoy the TP Pageant song.  I was also thinking of the "Star of the Day" song from Community Auditions.  What was the hosts name again?  He was around forever.
Yup

You're taking way too positive a spin on this wdleehi, clearly this is all a part of Edgar's planned coup to take takeover CB ;D  Adding fuel to the fire he feels he was screwed on the tiebreaker
