"City officials said the duck boats will not stop along the route. There will not be a rally at the start or end of the parade. "

This disappoints me, why can't they have a rally at the end and have everyone talk or something.  Security?

Yeah, I agree, it's kind of lame that the "Rolling Rally" has become the default parade solution, it would be nice to hear the players and coaches talk to the fans.

It'll be broadcast on some of the local channels.  I know Channel 5 for sure.

This Roaming Rally thing has been done more as a crowd control thing so its more spread out rather than everyone getting packed together in Government Center and the possible issues that could arise from that.

If they are not going to stop is there really any point in going? Just to see them ride by in the duck boats? Really?  Seems kinda silly to me. I know no one is forcing me to go but I would really like for them to stop and address the crowd...   Seems like a waste to me to see them ride by and wave. Yay...

Agreed, and I would be driving 3 hours from New York...I am teetering back and forth @ this point....

So let me get this straight...only a parade and no rally at the end?  That would be lame.
