Vujacic has a lot of potential. I suspect he just might be this generation's version of Danny Ainge. But yeah, the Lakers as a team have a tendency to be quick about expressing their displeasure and their outrage when things aren't going their way. Just like we do here at celticsblog. We do complain a lot here at the blog (but no one really listens to us, anyway), but thankfully the Celtics players and Coach generally have been dignified about the series.
Vujacic gets called for a lot of fouls because he's very aggressive on defense. It's a two-way street. If you're gonna pressure the ball constantly, and sometimes there's really no need to, then expect to get called for slapping and bumping the other guy.
In any case, he might have a point about those moving screens that Garnett was using. They could have easily been called as such. Both teams got away with violations during the series. But then again, a lot of calls that should not have happened did.
I don't know much about Ainge's career specifically, but it just feels wrong to compare the two. I'm assuming other people wouldn't feel it's a fair assessment?
Also, I'm not sure why you compared the Lakers complaining to the media about the officials/celtics style, to community members on Celtics Blog complaining in forums, again this seems like a stretch to make this comparison. Tho I do agree that the Celtics players/staff have remained much more level-headed in regards to blaming outside variables on poor play, which I think was your main point there.
If Vujacic wants to spend his time worrying about the "moving screens" (I mean is this not like 3 seconds, palming, and illegal defense, something that could be called so much more often than it is against every team) Garnett is setting and not the 15 some odd shots he missed over that 2 game span, good, he's taking his own head out of the game.
(update: as two other posters says, the triangle instigates many moving picks, and pau gasol goes over the back/pushes off alot for rebounds, we don't see E. House[ or any other role player for boston similar to vujacic] being interviewed focusing on those things)
