Clifford Ray deserves some love

Clifford Ray doesn't get nearly enough recognition for what he has been able to do with young celtics big men over the last few seasons.

He helped Al Jefferson turn into a 20/10 machine , because of this we were able to acquire KG.

He helped Perk develope his low post offensive game. Before this year Perk looked like a disaster on offense. Now he takes his time and doesn't rush his post up moves, he has also developed a nice little turn around jumper and is an excellent defender

Leon Powe , we all see what he did last night and how he plays basketball the way a big man should play which is going after every rebound and loose ball and finishing around the rim

And finally Big baby Davis , just like Powe he has been ready all year in big spots and is almost always ready to play

I think Clifford Ray has really done an awesome job with the bigs. I have no doubt in my mind that if Danny drafts another big man this year, Clifford Ray will have him NBA ready in no time.

I love Clifford Ray. He's done an incredible job with the big men. I'd be loathe to ever lose him. I share your belief in Ray's ability fully. Best big man coach in the NBA and by a large margin.

Don't forget PJ Brown also, Ray tutored him back in NJ when PJ arrived in the league. You can see Ray's paw marks all over PJ's game. I like the way PJ got to finish up playing for Clifford Ray again.

we should get him a 7 footer with potential in the draft so that he can mold the guy into an effective player.

Yup, Clifford Ray is awesome. He is to develpment of young big men, as Thibodeau is to defense.

He just doesn't get the attention because TT has more to work with.

Of all the players mentioned that Clifford mentored/coached,(as i  remember back) Clifford Ray basketball days on the court,K.Perkins has the closest to the same game as he did. Clifford got better as he went just like Perkins has/is.
