Gasol?

No, no, no.

I blame the game 1 loss on the rims.

Kareem said he would pass out oxygen masks for game 2 and Riles would bring in portable fans.

That should take care of everything!!!

Last year, I was enamored with the idea of a Big Al / Gasol front court.  While I'm still convinced that that would have been incredible offensively, I'm beginning to see how tremendously terrible the team may have been on defense.  Gasol's interior defense wasn't just average or poor last game, it was atrocious.

Still, I'd love to see him work with guys like Clifford Ray and Tom Thibodeau, to see what he could do with some real coaching.

If Gasol moves to the 4, you just go small and take advantage of his poor lateral mobility.

I predict that by the end of this series folks will have a better understanding of why Memphis couldn't win with him, and why they were willing to trade him for Javarais Crittenden and a couple of draft picks.

While I don't necessarily disagree with them. LA fans should be happy they have him. Without him they would have been lucky to make the playoffs. Let alone the Finals.
