I couldnt get the link but just visit nba.com to hear his interview on nba finals media day 1

He stated alot in the interview that it was close that he would not be back this year(got the hint he was going to demand a trade)

As much i could understand that this could have happened, i don't think it was very professional of him to focus on that matter throughout the interview. It makes him look somewhat selfish as a individual player but then again he probably thought it was selfish of the celtics to surround him with such an inexperienced team at this stage of his career

So even though i kind of knew he wanted out and now hearing from the interview it was very close if the ray allen kg trade didnt happen what do you guys think would have happened if the ray allen trade flopped??

With the 5th pick would we have still drafted Jeff Green or Al thorton?? (certain danny was aiming for either of these guys if he had to make a choice)

For Paul Pierce what could sort of package could we have recieved back?? Was he at the time worth as good as a couple of 1st round picks and an above average vet player??

Don't get me wrong i'm glad the trades did happen and paul is here but it seemed it was very close that we were going to have to struggle this season with a team consisting of Perkins, Jefferson, Jeff Green or Al Thornton(or both trading pierce for a pick), SG = trade for paul pierce, Rondo. Bench of gerald green, ryan gomes, delonte west
