regardless of who's bench is better... the disparity is not that wide and the experts are all totally wrong. The celtics have a better starting 5, and if ray allen is able to knock down a few early threes and force the lakers to focus on him, not to mention the most important factor which will be Perkins handling Gasol, then C's win it in 6 (and I only say 6 instead of 5 because of Kobe). The Lakers are NOT as good as everyone says, and as far as I'm concerned, their road to the finals was easier than ours. 7 games with ATL is sad, but Utah underperformed and the Spurs did not even belong in the conference finals, as NO is and was a far better team.
The Lakers bench is regarded so highly by the idiots at ESPN.com because they are exciting. They hit threes and play good offense. The media loves that, and so do all the casual fans.
If the C's take the first two games at home, then the series is over.
