When Ray is on he opens up so much more for the Celtics offensively. The double teams on KG and Pierce go way down when Ray is sitting behind the three point line open and ready to stroke it.

When we score more points than the other team, we win.  Coincidence or trend?
God bless and good night!

For now, a coincidence.  If he is able to light it up in Game 1, then I think its safe to say its a trend.  He has been far too off in the previous two series (and half of the Det series).

When he plays well, it helps ... duh.  But if Perkins plays with snarl, THAT has coincided with the best this team has to offer.

I think we can win without Ray, (sometimes, if everything else clicks), but we need Ray to play well to win on a regular basis. I don't mean just shooting ... he contributes much more than just points, and we need him on most of those levels to win consistently, just like we need the bench to do well and contribute.
