What does the Lakers win mean to the Celtics?...hmm...It means that the celtics are "guaranteed" to win at least one on the road..because the Lakers are still unbeaten at home and no playoff team has ever won ALL of their home games.  So the Lakers are due for a loss at home.

Frankly, if we beat Det, I think we will win easily against the Lakers.  We will blow them out in Game 1 and 2 and you'll start to hear about the match up problems the lakers are having.  Pierce will have his way against their small forward.  Put Kobe on Pierce and he will still to do well and then Ray will have his way.  Pau on KG?  Forget it.  Lamar on KG?  Pshh.

We simply match up better than most people think and would dominate the Lakers in the finals.  Of course, we still have to beat Det.

Pierce does well against the Lakers and I like KG's chances of neagating Odom or Gasol.  The one thing that does scare me is the Celtics have struggled in the fourth quarters this postseason and the Lakers have thrived at this time.
