The Celtics are winning on the road. They're in great shape.

Whatever problems they have, they've given Detroit a lot more problems. Detroit doesn't win with a backcourt only offense (31 of their 36 points).

anybody agreeing with Marc Jackson that Rondo is not a "pure" point guard?

I dunno. More like youth vs experience. Big shoes for a 2nd year man, trying to get his team to the finals.

  • Hinrich sucks, Deng sucks, Bulls suck, I'm out.
Sorry, just have to say, this officiating is horrendous. I don't know their names, but their taking those two gimps of chauncy and rip on their backs through this one. Awful. Awful.

Bad call to end a good half for the green team.  Huge third quarter coming up, we need to build a solid cushion going into a do or die fourth quarter for the Pistons.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

In HD, Ray seemed to have a big booger in his nose. :P

How did Powe not get that last call? Is it because he doesn't wear red, white and blue?

I don't see why Powe shouldn't start the 2nd half. Am i nuts? I don't think so. It's not my fault he's outplaying KG.

this has a ring of game 5 to it, detroit close lead at the half then celtics huge third quarter.

doc must remind the players of this and tell them to come out with more intensity than the pistons did in game 5. if we do that, we're one step closer to winning this thing.

Rondo is a pure point guard but he isn't a floor general. Not yet, not at this point in his career. That's why the ball doesn't always get to where it's meant to go.

Pretty good half from the Celtics. We need to stretch the lead and stop Chauncey Billups.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I like what I've seen.

Keep doing the same+

KG get the shot going
Hopefully get a whistle to get to the line a bit
Contest Billups some more

All in all, they look fine though

Nice job by Powe!
Yup

Rondo's still learning. I think he can learn the ropes of the point job.

His defense has been a mess. He needs to work harder and keep Chauncey in front of him.
