Game 5. It's a crossroad.

I hope Rondo won't be too worn out on Friday night. But I agree with playing him the whole game. Had to win this one.

Wait did we win?  I switched to Baseball Tonight to see if Manny hit number 500....
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I don't care, I don't care, I don't care - we won the game!!!

But yeah, gotta finish games like that, we slowed the ball down and played on our heels the whole 4th until Detroit got close enough to make us make plays.  But, we made the plays, and got the W.  Next lead we get we can't keep playing like it's the regular season and the other team's gonna lay down shortly.

Ohhhh, Lord.

Ray Allen. Fantastic. Great rhythm shooting, nice job on the defensive end.

Kendrick Perkins. Fantastic. Authoritative, intelligent play on both ends of the floor.

Ticket. Fantastic, but shoot the ball, dude.

Rondo. Son, handle the pressure. For God's sake, handle the pressure and pass the basketball with some authority.

Not a lot of composure down the stretch until the final 30 seconds, but big foul shots.

Any relaxation Friday night and this series will go back to Boston for Game 7.

And I loathe Kenny Mauer. What a horrible, horrible grandstanding official. People don't come to watch you decide a game, you imbecile.

It's amazing to me that we can't beat a zone press.

It is amazing, isn't it? Junior high school stuff to pass authoritatively, but I remember three horrid, horrible flip passes into the air.

Stupid, stupid stuff.

Has there ever been a shakier 13 assist performance in the history of the NBA?  What a strange night for Rondo.  13 assists, only 1 turnover, and a big hoop, but he was just so [dang] shaky.
Yup

Was anybody else losing it? Sloppy passes, questionable calls, clutch shots, missed free throws, questionable timeouts, RAY ALLEN, smart fouls, made free throws. I must've looked like a maniac.

Not that I remember. His decision-making is a wild, wild roller-coaster ride, man. Rondo giveth and Rondo taketh away.
