I'm worried if we lose tomorrow.

Game 4's gonna be a biggy in this series.  I have a suspicion the winner of that game will advance.
Yup

if they lose the next two on the road (plausible), it would be extremely difficult for them to win the last 3 in a row.

rondo has to play better on the road...so far, he hasn't.  he's been like jekyll and hyde when it comes to his play.

even though they haven't won on the road yet, the truth is, they haven't HAD to.  now they do - we'll learn what this team is made of, that's for sure.

I'm confident that the C's can win on the road ... when both teams play their best, the Celts are a much better team ... period. However, I can't presume to say I'm not concerned, Detroit has been here many times before, and we haven't. Experience in the playoffs is huge, and the Pistons have all the confidence in the world, where we have just question marks. Under-estimating that would be a major mistake.

Like I've said many times, this Detroit team is not as good as many feel they are, but their experience alone is a very large weapon to have this time of year. The Celtics really haven't played a "great" game since the first round, and they're due, but as they spend their court-time learning and adjusting to this new team they're all on, teams like Detroit can just concentrate on perfecting the game they've solidified long ago.

I think the C's have a few surprises left for all of us, and can still win the championship despite all the powers against them. They are plain-and-simple the best team in the NBA when they play their best, but the problem is they haven't figured out just how to do that on a consistent basis ... yet. That time will come, no doubt, but for now they've got to play every game like it's their last, and not give in to over-confidence or a lack of concern .... that's what Detroit does best, so let's leave that up to them.

Well, I do feel a little better after reading all these posts. If most of CelticsBlog is that optimistic maybe I can shelve my natural pessimism. I've been concerned since the Atlanta series- I guess I was so spoiled by the regular season, I thought it would be easy.
And as crazy as is sounds, even if they do lose both in Detroit(there's my pessimism), if they are truly better, coming back from 3-1 can be done.
Glad to see Ray come out of it. I admit I was ready to bench him if he started the game poorly, but he was very aggresive and some shots went in, thank goodness. And Rondo- I love your game so much it's embarrasing, but if you're left wide open, shoot the [dang] ball!!!!!

Game 3 is simply a must win for us fans only. Otherwise we will spaz to death. Including myself.

No pessimism here, in a 7 game series tied at 1-1 , but of course I love to watch the drama unfold and can even appreciate my teams opponent creating great hoops play!

Some may not be able to see that while they watch, and unfortunately these one team fans miss half the game and are filled with aprehension and such pessimism that only winning every game or looking to games to come can only see all that has gone wrong as a predictor of the future. But I do understand that perspective and thats the excietment some get from the contest played, a double edged sword which hightens their experience, I understand...

Oh well, even their pessimisim is entertaining to read, and very few will actually follow through on their contemplation of the Tobin Bridge answer to a loss. Very few. :) lol

I do expect a great game tonight, leaving die hard Detroit fans eyeing their local bridge of choice as being an option after an a**kicking by Yooouur Boston Celtics ;)

Tonights game is simply another opportunity to break this away game bugaboo in a year full of broken records and shattered great hopes of our Celtics opponents ;)

Those thoughts have me expectant for a great effort from the Green tonight and not overly concerned that this Celtics team will not meet that challenge :)

I expect the Celtics to return to Boston down 3-1 in the series. I'm a realist.

Hey, wait, I thought I was the Pistons fan for not being that concerned.  That sure sounds more like something a Pistons fan might say.

Yup

said the Raptors and TWolves fan... You're really not the one to question anyone's loyalty to this team now are you?!

You know exactly what everyone is saying on here and you're just trying to stir up trouble. Come on Brick...

I hope the Celtics sweep the next three games.  I'm rooting for them.

But they won't.

I am hoping that we get one of the next 2 but I would not be surprised to see us lose the next 2 and return home down 3-1..and for anyone that thinks coming back from that deficit is impossible, just think back to 1981 when the Celtics were written off down 3-1 vs the Great Sixer Team in the conference finals.

One way or another, we will find a way to win this series and probably in the way that gives us all of Celtic Nation Agita- But wouldn't it be nice if we shocked the world like the Sox did in 2004 and won the next 7 straight..but I guess that 7 straight wins can happen when we are down 3-1 as well. Let us hope not!
