This one is over.  Once again, put the ball in the captain's hands at a critical time for the big turnover.

For all you conspiracy theorists, why doesn't the conspiracy apply to the Pistons, who will beat either of these teams in 5 or 6 games.

Rondo -- Horrible
Perkins -- Worse
Allen -- Should not even be playing

This is why Sam Cassell has gotten so many minutes in this series, there have been large chunks of games where Rondo hasn't played well enough and forced Doc to look to his bench more. Regardless of Sammy or Eddie, Doc needed to go to his bench more.

Man ... the dichotomy between home and the road with this team is amazing ... absolutely baffling. A 17 to 2 run in the last 6+ minutes ... the boys need to stop being lazy and attack the darn basket!! Honestly, I've never been so frustrated watching a team in my life as watching these playoff road games ... really a total breakdown of how they played in the regular season.

You had to know how this was going to play out as soon as they dusted off Dick Bavetta's corpse.

Wow.
Now it's about climbing back to even rather than maintining a close game. An absolutely horrendous last 6 minutes.  This is what they have been doing all playoffs.  I had some hope after Wednesday night and the start of this game, but they are back to the typical road woes that we've seen in the playoffs.

They go from 3 to 9 down in the last 18 seconds of the half.

When will Doc get a big enough set to say something about the refereeing?  I am sure after the game he will give his usual, moronic, post game comments.  Yes, many of the C's fouls have been legit calls, but what about the fouls the Cavs are committing and not being called?  Amazing to me how good the Pistons are, though.  They can win on the road whenever they need to -- even without their point guard.

It is tough to play 5 on 8.
This reffing has been simply attrocious.

Don't worry guys, Doc will make all the necessary halftime adjustments. :'(
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Ok, we've got another one...turn in your "fan" card, you've officially quit on your team.  Go away and don't come back.  The Lakers are looking good, you can go root for them, at least til they have a bad half and you have to whine your way out of rooting for them too.

...it worked last time, let's try it again...We're winning this game.

  • Yup
Is there any reason why the Celtics aren't up by about 40 right now?  Man, oh Manischewitz, Cleveland was trying their [dang]dest to give this game and the Celts just weren't willing to grab it.
Yup
