There was a great moment in the closing minutes of last nights game. Garnett had the ball after an inbound and he was looking around for Rondo who was standing right underneath him. He gave Rondo the ball and then kinda went forehead to forehead with him in a show of trust. Anyone know where I can find a picture of this tender moment?

That was pretty awesome actually.  It was like KG temporarily lost his mind from all the intensity and wasn't going to give the ball up.  Then he came to his senses and realized it was Rondo so he gave him the ball and went forehead to forehead with him.   I thought they might get whistled for not bringing the ball up the court fast enough... but it was a pretty cool moment.

Totally torn on this one --

The fan side of me totally loved it and was looking for someone to high five (but seeing that the wife and kids were in bed - there were no fives to be had).

The over-analyzing-dreading the worst-pragmatist side of me thinks that the Celtics would be much better off to tone down the emotion and play within themselves.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love my kids - call me a sap, it's true.

I agree but I think this gesture was Garnett collecting himself a little bit. It seemed like he was all pumped up, then he kinda took a deep breath and handed the ball off. I thought it showed some composure.

It was at that moment that I knew the Celtics were going to win that game no matter what.  All good.

Only pansy baseball players cry about stuff like that. Basketball players don't really care.
