Who else is watching Dallas right now? I had to take a break from GTA 4 and I was greeted with this very important game.

Anyone else kinda rooting for Kidd? I know Chris Paul is some kinda sorcerer with the ball but I don't want 6 months straight of Mark Cuban whinin and crying.

I will never, ever, ever cheer for Kidd.

Detroit's taking care of business, in the same situation that we're going to be in tomorrow night.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I was surprised when everyone was saying that Dallas was gonna win even though NO had a better record and has been consistent all year.  I have been saying all along that NO is one of the most underated teams.  The thing is that they have the makeup of a full TEAM.

Just think about it, they have a great PG that can spread out that is playing out of his mind.  They have a good scorer in David West, a big player that can shoot and take it to the hoop.  Also, when he's on, he's getting to be one of the best in the league (kind of like when Pierce would catch on fire, or Kobe, and LJ).  They have a great shooter in Peja that even though he's missed a step, he can still shoot.  They have a great rebounder and shot blocker in Chandler, and now Wright is playing great making their bench even deeper.  They also play relatively good D too.

Basically, I think of them as the anti-Knicks.  Not a lot of GREAT players (except Paul), but a team that when playing when they believe on the system, can surprise a lot teams.

Anyway, sorry, that was a random ramble about NO.  I haven't even seen the game yet, but it seems like they're taking care of business.  I hope we don't face them.  And Dallas, overated!
Baby Jesus!

New Orleans sure do know how to kill teams off. Their execution in fourth quarters all season long has been magnificent. Chris Paul does a great job of controlling the clock and ensuring they get a good shot.

It's so easy for the Hornets. All's it takes is one high screen and roll and chances are Chris Paul can get you a high percentage shot. You can milk 10-15 seconds off the clock every possession with the comfort of that knowledge.

The Mavs looked very similar to the way the Celts looked last night ... very little passion, no sense of urgency, poor shot selection, and up and down defense. Too little too late ... Dallas has got some real tough decisions to make this off-season.

Suns-Spurs Round Five, I'm expecting a top game here from both sides. Spurs will close it out tonight.

Suns haven't started well. Look a little angsty out there, unsure of themselves.

Big Shot Bob strikes from deep!...with a 'little shot' (at least as far as significance is concerned) to extend a early Spurs lead to 30-22.  I've been a booster of his from afar for years and just can't get enough of this guy.  Could be his last playoff run, and I'm milking it for all it's worth.

The Spurs-Suns has been well lots of missed shots. Tony Parker and Boris Diaw are the only guys shooting well. Put everybody else together and they're below 40%.

It's really wierd, it looks like the Suns have stopped running plays for him. Or at least they're running nowhere near as many plays for him. I'd be surprised if it's even half the amount he was getting late in the regular season.

Man ... just thinking how much amazing talent is on the floor with these two teams ... so many facets to both these teams ... I'd personally love Phoenix to even it up, just so I can watch this match-up longer! (Really hate the whole "Hack-A-Shaq" stuff, though ... play ball!)
