Comeon guys, shotclock had nothing to do with it.  Cs got flat out outhustled tonight.  They better learn something from it and come back strong.

Agree 100 percent.  Other than KG, the C's simply did not come to play tonight.  Totally outplayed and outhustled.  They better get their heads on straight before the next gams.

Oh well, congratulations to the very few real Atlanta Hawks fans out there. Give me a working shot clock and a real referee crew for game 4 and it's a wrap for ATL.

The confetti after a win in a 1st round playoff game, which makes you down 2-1, is simply embarrassing, these little things are what gets under the skin of great teams like the Celtics.

Couldn't agree with Donny more, big mistake by the Hawks to think of one win as more than it is, C's will make them pay.

preach brotha..!!

Shot clock issue had nothing to do with the game tonight.  Neither team had a shot clock.  What did Leon Powe do to get nailed to the bench tonight and what did Big baby do to get so many minutes?  What did Powe play, 6 minutes?

I agree that the C's didn't bring their A game tonight, but the NBA should be embarrassed by this game.  Really poor officiating.  And the shot clock not working?  After what happened with the phantom Shaq foul and the clock mis-start (with Toronto) I think Atlanta has proven itself not ready to host NBA basketball of any kind, playoff or otherwise.

Good thing for the NBA no one was actually watching this game.

I hope Pierce remembers that image of Horford taunting him on the ground. Unreal the way the C's played tonight. They deserved to lose. That being said, that had to be the worst officiating I've seen. No T for Horford, phantom offensive fouls, and lack of the shot clock killed the refs. Why do we keep getting terrible officiating?

we lose cause we missed layups and took brick 3's...i hope we learned sumthin....

We lost because Atlanta opened there ass from 3 point land, some bad calls , some home cooking with the shot clock..

No hard fouls we really did'nt play with intensity..

Atlanta can't do this again
See, this is why I'm not allowed to announce NBA games -- I'd be talking in the Cookie Monster voice right now:

Ahhhhhhhhhh ... my knee hurts ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ... me don't like when my knee hurts ...

Well, that was pretty disappointing. We lost because we got outplayed(outhustled). Still, Violet Palmer should lose any right to officiate a game, ever.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Tommy cheered me up a little bit with his post game comments, about the Celts learning a lesson, etc.  Certainly they won't let this happen again against a team like this.  I'm still optimistic.  Optimistic and crushed.

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I thought I knew this team better than this. Not showing up in the second half and letting the clock and refs get in their heads is something I never expected.

Of course, my man BT is right, the clock and refs didn't miss those ill advised threes and layups and the clock and refs didn't play matador defense or throw the ball away all night.

And give the Hawks props. They balled.

The refs had nothing to do with the loss, however, is there any doubt that Violet Palmer is one of the worst in the league.  She should NEVER ref a playoff game.  Also, it is an embarrassment with the shot clock issue, but that affected both teams.  Simply a poor effort tonight by the Celtics.  They were completely outplayed by Atlanta's young studs.  I wish there was an explanation for Powe only playing six minutes.
