And Redz, seeing that signature of yours puts a smile on my face
haha

Let me at ya' in a real man's game like Scrabble and I'll go Bingo happy on your punk butt! I was awful in that Protrade thingy
Oooooh, scrabble player??? Bang. Bring it, good sir!
Could you possibly be a Boggle-type of dude as well?
Both games have long been institutions in the Weinman household...always pleased to see others engaging in the pursuit as well.

Yup...Undefeated at Boggle! I love Scrabble the best though.
I don't play much of either any more. My wife's not into board games, but my daughter will love it once she hones her spelling and vocab etc...I'll have to wait a few years for some competition.
I'm not sure a single TP will do justice to my delight in coming across another Scrabble-Boggle contestant, but it shall have to do for now.
And yeah...I remember the days of being "the kid" in these games and getting beaten down -- mostly by Mom -- on an all too regular basis. It was bad enough in Scrabble...but when it would take 15 minutes just get through her list in Boggle (or it least that's what it felt like), yikes. Humbling experience.

Wow ... someone should start a thread ... love Boggle and Scrabble, too! Though I must admit they take a second seat to Chess and cribbage ... next to impossible to find a cribbage or speed chess opponent these days. Do you guys play all versions of Boggle? (Boggle Bowl, etc.) Been addicted to the jumbles since birth, and love sudoku, too, since my daughter turned me onto it.
Big Ticket is gonna kill me for making a board game debacle out of a rather meaningful basketball thread...but now you've got me intrigued. What is Boggle Bowl? When you say "all versions of Boggle" to me, the only two different versions that register are the 'traditional' board -- known as 'Big Boggle' -- and the travel set form. The only crucial difference of course is that the bigger board requires a four-letter minimum and the travel set three. Please do enlighten me of this bowl business.
Played a lot of chess when I was a lot younger (Gramps was the master in my family), and having two math teachers in the house growing up, I'd be hard-pressed not to be a Sudoku booster (they'll take anything with numbers involved). No familiarity with cribbage though.

It's the same main principle as Boggle, but has a larger board, and is more intense/frenzied. Just takes Boggle a bit further, and you can build upward, ro cover another players letters. If you love Boggle, it's worth checking out ... we love it!
So I at least
touch on the original thread, I think the real KG has been here all year, and how he'll behave in the playoffs is obviously much
less "real" in this context, than his regular-season game. I have no doubt that he'll just be an even
MORE intense monster than he is now, (which is a bit scary to imagine). Go C's!
