If im the thunder, it makes me less likely to move him. In the absence of the idea of Williams (his injury struggles are tough,) you need something to relieve the scoring pressure off SGA. The Thunder have done a legendary job of finding 6-2 - 6-7 great defenders that have a scoring skill. Hugo honestly might have a better career going there than he has here.

But they need Ajay's skillset so bad right now

Now that Williams is out for the season, OKC are in desperate need of wings.

Due to cap constraints & the fact that Williams was meant to be completely healthy this season, Oklahoma have already traded away Lue Dort, Isaiah Joe & Aaron Wiggins. What makes their situation worse is that because of the luxury tax, the Thunder cannot take in more salary than they send out.
