Shams Charania: Restricted free agent guard Jordan Miller has pinged back to the Los Angeles Clippers on a new three-year, $15.3 million deal, sources tell ESPN. Miller served his way last season with 10 points per game on 53% from the field, and rallied to score double digits in 20 of his final 26 games last season.
LAC have now reached deals with both Jordan Miller & Kobe Sanders to keep their 2 young wings in place on relatively cheap deals for the next few years.
G: D Garland, K Dunn, Cameron Christie
G: K Sanders, Keaton Wagler
F: B Ingram, B Mathurin, Gradey Dick
F: Derrick Jones Jr, Jordan Miller
C: B Lopez, Niederhauser, Isaiah Jackson
13 legit players. Guys who can play.
They are small at PF. B Lopez is a bad rebounder. So rebounding will likely be an issue. Small and frail with D Garland, K Wagler, B Ingram. The other guys (Dunn, K Sanders, J Miller) are solid to high quality defenders on the perimeter defenders around them. Mathurin is a dodgy defender if he has to play SF rather than SG. Undersized there. Probably be a bad defensive team. Their main guys on the perimeter are poor defenders. So a bad rebounding team & a bad defensive team.
