Hauser + two second round picks for Gafford or Isaiah Stewart (TPE)

MLE on Sexton, Coby White or Simons

Draft another big man tonight (or PF), and then sign someone on the vet minimum that shakes loose (pipe dream is someone like Porzingis)

This would actually be fantastic if they can get it done. Gets you a big, a guard and most likely a wing in the draft.

After the Giannis stuff, I'm not really believing these reports until it actually happens. There's all kind of rumors out there from various media sources, so it's hard to know what to believe.

When shams is saying that the Celtics are listening to offers for JB, I believe him.

I see this as non-reporting reporting.  Of course Boston is "listening".  Every single team in every single sport listens to trade offers on every one of its players.  Then, the team being propositioned usually politely declines.

If you hear that Brad is *engaging* with other teams in trade discussions, exchanging counter-offers, etc., it's meaningful.

You think the Celtics are listening to trade offers for Tatum? I don?t.

Why wasn?t Shams saying Boston was taking offers on JB before the Giannis trade. He wasn?t saying anything until recently.

I think teams know that Tatum is not available. He has always been untouchable, even after the injury. Brad has tried to trade Brown multiple times. It seems like both sides want to move on.

It seems like Brad wants to move on if he can get a first ballot HOFer in return.

Kalshi has JB remaining in Boston at 34%.

Kalshi has JB remaining in Boston at 34%.

It also had Giannis coming to Boston in the sixties at one point last night.

Zion for JB would probably my favorite "shake it up" trade at this point.

High risk but it would force a big change in the way we play.

But the team's biggest challenges are replacing the Jrue and Horford spots. The additional ball handling, passing, shooting and defense those two provided at 1 and 5. The bookends. So much of the team's success stemmed from the way they completed the lineup.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I?m fine with JB returning. I think he will just be more motivated. That?s what he does.

No one has officially reported Jaylen has requested a trade or that he's upset. Every quote from a reporter is along the lines of "I think", "I'm not sure", "I suspect". If you actually listen to Windhorst and Shams and not the quotes posted online, even they sound like they are guessing on that front. The C's typically work in silence too yet the Giannis stuff felt out of character. This to me just feels media driven. I wouldn't rule out a trade tonight but it's probably something smaller involving Hauser, our pick and maybe future ones. Jaylen is probably staying though and they will add to the group with the TPE, MLE and tonight's draft. Of course they will listen and do their due diligence but I don't see it. White can be dangled in a trade too and they'll listen but at this point I think he stays too unless something materializes that's hard to pass up.

I do sometimes wonder if Brad puts out rumors just to motivate him.  Rarely are others so publicly discussed from the Celtics.

The weight loss drugs make me somewhat more bullish on Zion's health for the next 3 years.

I just like the way he plays: the constant pressure on the rim. How dangerous that would be next to Tatum, White and Pritchard.
