I felt Tatum, Brown and White were all underwhelming for a large portion of this game.

But then towards the end Brown made numerous huge plays that swung the momentum in the Celtics favour, Tatum hit an absolutely massive shot, and then White made two important free throws at the end to seal the game.

This is why these guys have won a LOT of playoff games.

JB picked us up when Philly made that run, then JT sealed it with that huge three. 25 points apiece for our two superstars!

Sixers have Maxey, Knicks have Brunson. These teams have guys who are killers in the 4th yet the C's I'd argue don't. Tatum/Brown are great but a lot of times when it's a close/clutch 4th in the playoffs they struggle too or can't close it out.

I'll give them credit, Tatum and Brown throughout the 4th made a lot of great plays/decisions and obviously hit some big shots. Brown with those killer 2s inside, and Tatum with some massive 3s. Pritchard also with a huge 3 late.

I'd still like to see them be able to do it more consistently and they'll probably have to, but that's a gutsy win on the road even with momentum at times heavily on the Sixers side. Almost shades of 2023 Game 6 in the 2nd round down 3-2 when they just came alive in the 4th when all hope looked lost.

They probably won't be able to frontrun or blow teams out often like in 2024, so they'll need to figure out ways to win close games in the 4th and I think having Jaylen be more involved there might be the way to go with Tatum assisting in other ways

Had the sound on the 4th quarter for some reason ....... those two announcers were a couple of real balloon heads.

It was worse than root canal!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Some overblown negativity in this thread tonight.  A lot of doubt about this team and some season over sentiment.  Pining for someone like Maxey or Brunson to make some clutch shots for the Cs.  Well, Maxey disappeared and the Jays and Payton took the game.  Some nice performances tonight.  Really happy with Jordan and Baylor - young guys playing tough in the playoffs - great to see.

I just had one.  totally painless and fixed a lot of pain I was in.    Those 2 idiot announcers were worse than the pain before the root canal

Yeah Maxey and Brunson didn't come through the last few nights I'll admit. I did have my worries when Maxey started the quarter strong again lol

Embiid is probably coming back Game 4, but I also think White and the C's have absolutely not played well the last few games and I can't imagine it'll continue. They feel due. They still have flaws but they can overcome it with smarter basketball (fewer turnovers) and if White wakes up.

I do think a win like tonight can jumpstart things. Vucevic, Baylor and others definitely got experience (good and bad) in the clutch moments and that'll only help long term this spring.

Yeah - especially through the middle portion of the game. I feel like the Celtics made a lot of mistakes.

Lot of unecessary bad passes, ill advised shots, loose handles.

Team was very lucky to pull out this win due to some huge (and tough/heroic) shots by Brown, Tatum and Pritchard that could have very easily gone the other way.

The basketball gods smiled upon the Celtics today, but the game never should have been that close.

It wasn't but it was close all game and you have to give credit to Philly.  They were tough, physical, and high energy.

Great board by DWhite btw.  Loved that.
