13-47 from 3 is just awful, not just the percentage but how many we still attempt...

Didn't I mention something in another thread recently about shooting 3's with impunity without alternative offensive options costing us important playoff games ??

This could be similar to the 2023 series with the Sixers, with Games 1 and 2 switched. Although if it actually went 7 games that'd be bad... 6 is fine.

I predicted a 4-2 Cs win. Not too worry about this. But one thing is for sure, our PnR defense is atrocious. Players keep running behind  chasing them on 2on1. Our Centers shouldn't drop.

Complete fail.

I figured that Philly would win a couple, though.  Gotta play better in Game 3.

Why no Hugo?

Casualty of the shortened rotation. Shame though considering he was a good part  of our overachieving season

Silver lining...I don't think Philly can shoot that well from 3 again.

But I am bit concerned because Boston is not shooting the ball well at all.

I can't see the C's winning 3 straight. This is definitely going 6. Don't be surprised if it goes 7 though. Philly is tough. They played the Celtics tough this regular season.

So frustrating to get it down to 2 multiple times and then give it all right back. The Sixers were trying to let us take the lead At times in that 4th and we just never did it. Really unfortunate.

Tatum has looked far better than expected but I do think the one thing that is missing is his explosiveness and confidence driving to the basket. That makes it tougher for him to be a three level scorer. Would like to try and get him some mid range looks at least.

Overall just frustrating game. Still should win the series but annoying no doubt.

This was the quintessential stop shooting threes game. Also happened to coincide with some good 3-point shooting on the other side.  What put a knife in my belly was taking down to 2 twice and then chucking both times. Disappointing.

Having 2 full days off to hear how terrible they played hopefully lites a fire. Tonight was a reality check.

White has to improve. He has been awful so far. PP not much better. Hauser can't defend. I'd rather see Baylor or hugo play more over him.

I mean, last postseason blowing two 20-point leads at home and the home games didn't light a fire under them. While they did take Game 3, the C's were still struggling against the Knicks in Game 4 before Tatum went down with that injury.

Scal in the post game saying that he felt that after our 16-0 run we just settled for 3s and looked like the team we were last season, just chucking up 3s and settling for 3s (we took 50 3s and our season average is about 42 I think). He felt we didn't attack the paint much and when we did we were trying to draw fouls instead of make shots. And our defense at the point of attack wasn't good, we got killed in the pick and roll and gave the Sixers, esp. VJ, a lot of open shots which they made (they made 50% of their 3s and we made 25%).

Eddie saying we were outhustled and the Sixers came out with more urgency and were the more desperate team.

Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Agree with Scal.  It was a terrible game on both ends of the floor for us.  And again we didn't adjust.  Just like the team we were last season.
