Do you think the rest of the Eastern Conference watched this game and afterwards were thinking:

"Oh crap! They really are back! We're screwed!

The only team that might not is NY, because they beat the C's last year and they definitely don't seem to fear the C's (reminds me a little of the Butler-Heat from 2020-2023, and Brunson is their version of that 4th quarter killer + closer).

But hey, it'll be even sweeter when the C's get their revenge and beat them next round  :)

Opened the playoffs similar to 2024. Nice!

Great win. Really could not have gone better. But still some opportunities to get better. Queta, Vooch, and Garza have to defend the rim better without fouling. Our offense bogged down a little at times too.

Still, even when our offense is bogged down, it looks better than most other teams normal offense.

I definitely didn't expect a game one to be that easy. And, as an added bonus, the national broadcasters didn't suck.

I still hate Scott Foster, though.

agree on all of this.  Bilas was decent as the color guy.  not a lot of insights but far less fawning over the C's opponents than Doris and Reggie.

That's the name of Noa's podcast. I know she stole that from the classic, 'We want Boston', chant, but cool to see this as the option. I wish I had one.

Anyway, I guess this series will be an easy one. I don't think we can count on Philly missing so many 3s, but our defense was suffocating. Philly also seemingly had a record number of and-1s, so maybe we can foul them next game without letting them score

Props to Sam Hauser. He had a very good game. 12pts/7rebs/2ast/1stl on 4-6 shooting. Defense was solid all game. Glad the Cs didn?t trade him like many propose on a regular basis.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

how/why are they broadcasting when all games have been taken away from them during the playoffs?
