great win. so tps for all those hung around to the end.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I don't think House adds much to the broadcast.  Not everything Scal says is gold, of course, but I think he's gotten good at pointing out some less obvious things about plays and tactics.  House seems like a perfectly pleasant guy, but I don't recall ever saying anything about a particular game that wasn't pretty obvious.

that's fair.  guess I've grown tired of Scal trying too hard to sound like he knows everything and pointing out stuff that's either obvious or about himself.

makes me miss Tommy so much.

Yeah.  I liked Scal when he was with Mike.  With Drew, both of them are leaning in on going "bro" and trying too hard.  Over-repetitive nicknames, the same topics repeated over and over.

If Scal is on a broadcast I think they need a straight man, rather than somebody feeding into his shtick.

agreed.  Drew has the broadcasting voice but not the skills that Mike had.  Would love to see him come out of retirement to do a few special games this year

I really miss Mike and Tommy. Can?t stand Drew and Scal. They are equally obnoxious.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don?t love Drew either. And I don?t like the Drew-Scal team.  Too many laughs, recurring jokes, yucking it up.  Drew has a good voice, he is smart, seems to do his homework.  I give him credit for being as young as he is doing as well as he does. But I think he needs to grow into the role and that will take some time. For now, he annoys me more often than not.

In some fairness to Drew, the Gorman comparison is the 26 (or so) year old Drew compared to the many decade experienced Mike.  I do remember Mike?s early years and he was not the polished broadcaster back then that he came to be.
