Only saw the last quarter but a solid performance despite Jaylen fouling himself out. TPs for all!

Is Walsh hurt?

Not sure. Both Minott and Walsh not getting minutes is a little surprising. Joe must have not seen what he was looking for out of Walsh.

It seems like Hugo has leapfrogged both of them in Joe?s rotation.

With Detroit losing, we are now just 3.5 games out of first place. How crazy is that?!

We?re assuming that Joe?s rotation is fixed? I don?t think it is. He said multiple times that his rotation will change on a regular basis based on matchups or how he?s feeling on the day. :police:

This team tailored its offense and defense to Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard and Derrick White?s games, alongside a deeper cast of contributors that could flow in and out of games like hockey lines for shorter, max-effort line substitutions. Boston plans to utilize much of its depth this year ? Mazzulla saying there may be no rotation.

Watching the NBA is difficult these days requiring 129 apps and subscriptions. Last few years I've just watched the replays on NBA youtube channel. For whatever reason every Celtics game is the opposing teams announcing crew.

Here is my Celtics hot take - Drapes is better than Drew.

ok fine

Yeah I guess tanking was literally impossible. 21-12 is honestly insane, and you can't use "easy schedule" as some excuse, the C's have actually played a Top-10 schedule in terms of strength of schedule and already played a bunch of quality teams, some multiple times. In fact, their remaining schedule is actually one of the easiest ones in the league, the main "meat" of it is some of the West teams like SAS, OKC, HOU, DEN. And a few left vs. NY and DET and other East top foes, but otherwise it's not that bad. Probably only 10-12 games left I consider "very hard". Obviously they will lose other ones too even to horrible teams, but I wouldn't rule out 50 wins this season, or 48+

Maxime Raynaud should have been drafted by our "genius" GM.....we wouldn't be trying to get a Center right now.

Not so fast....Q and Garza are both doing a solid job.  Q with the blocks and rebounds and Garza with 3s and setting great picks.  We still could use a center but I'm not as concerned as I was at the beginning of the season.

You know who Q reminds me of?  Acie Earl!

ACIE EARL, Iowa 6-10, 240; 16.9 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2.8 bpg Large man who worked hard and improved greatly in four years. . . . Takes strange-looking shots and has unorthodox style of play, but does job well. . . . Has good touch and range (17 feet). . . . Scouts question his mobility and athleticism. . . . Plays a physical game. . . . Slumped somewhat after super junior season (19.5 ppg, 4 bpg). . . . Can?t stay with NBA power forwards due to lack of quickness, but size and shot-blocking skills make him legitimate pivot man.

Acie Earl would be one of the last centers on earlier C's teams that I'd compare him to

Remember when Acie Earl returned to play at the "new" Garden as a Rapptor and broke the court record for scoring lol

This got me wondering, if you put Amari Williams in Sacramento and he got the same playing time as Raynaud, what numbers would he be putting up?
