Baylor in the game for what - a minute?  Less I think, and then subbed out.

D White with a sweet move.

Tillman was invisible in his minutes.  Queta is still inconsistent.  He'll make a very good play and then follow it up by being woefully out-of-position on the very next possession.  He'll be getting a trial by fire this year so hopefully he'll get better with game action.

Well that's not good. Hamstring tightness

I'll be happy if Queta can turn into a solid 3rd big and occasional fringe starter long term here. I love his potential. But it's about showing continued growth and reaching it. I felt the same about Hauser early on and he ultimately did turn into a useful 7th or 8th man.

Simons looks uncomfortable with the ball in his hands.  Tentative and even a bit slow.  Not much ability to beat his man off the bounce, which is surprising to me.  Hope it's just a system familiarity thing.

Kind of a rough second quarter, but on the bright side, Queta was kinda dominating right after I said he was up and down.  Raptors were on a run and he snuffed it out almost single-handedly with his rim presence and rebounding.  Love to see that.

I'm seeing the same thing.  His handle is fair at best, but I was expecting to see more ability to at least break his defender down from time to time, create at least some action in the PnR by getting downhill.  Maybe he's just trying to play within himself.

One thing that I'm quite certain of is playmaking will be a problem when DWhite is not on the floor.  Without Tatum we don't have a player who can consistently create for others.

PP does a nice job...this game 7 assists so far.

first half hot takes
- White looks ready to step up his game this season.
- Q has finally showed up this preseason
- Boucher and Minott should be productive players this season
- Hugo looked good in short minutes

- Simons looks really uncomfortable running the offense
- what was up with the Baylor quick hook from Joe?
- Tillman and Walsh still looking like deadweight
- PP's getting assist but he needs to hit shots
- Defense and rebounding look better this game but they're still problem areas for the team this season
