I can?t believe no one signed him for the Vet minimum? What about us? He seems like a great fit for us this year to come off the bench.
What are your thoughts??

I am only interested in signing players that have some expectation to be helpful in the 2026-27 season.  A vet like Westbrook would only be in the way of playing time for younger players.  That would be acceptable if that player had a realistic chance of helping the team win a title in 2026-27.  Westbrook will be 37 in November so 38 next season.

I don't see him helping in 2026 and I don't think the team is going to be good enough in 2025 to be any kind of a contender.  So I would rather see the minutes spent on developing younger or middle-age players.

No.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Great Point!! I often say I am less and less sure of facts in my life as I get older! Meaning, the older I get, the easier it is to change my mind. This is a great example! as soon as I read what Vermont Green said, I agreed. There you go, that was easy, thanks!!!

If you think Boston is going to be a playoff team this year, then signing Westbrook makes a lot of sense.  I don't think Boston is going to make the playoffs (nor should they be trying to), so I wouldn't sign him.
