Can't believe I'm saying it because he still sucks, but Woody Johnson may not have been wrong about Fields. He's not even trying to make passes, it's mostly runs, RPOs and check downs only. The only effort is on runs but he seems scared to even try anything deep or down field

Yeah Mitchell has dropped 3 passes but I'd argue 1 of them wasn't even a good throw, a better ball would have made it an easier attempt

Nice win!  I think Maye is now 11-11 as a starter.  Glad they get 10 days off.

This is about as unimpressive as a win can be. I'm sure the short week didn't help, but that can't be an excuse. The Pats looked quite unprepared. Thankfully their raw talent is more than that of the Jets, but they can't have a repeat of this against a good team and hope to win.

Thursday night football games are like that. I'm more happy we escaped this with little injuries besides Milton Williams (probably not serious thankfully), and now 10 days until the next game.

Yup, win's a win and given what we've gone through the past six years I don't want to be picky. This could easily have been a trap game

This win seemed more about the Jets being bad then the Patriots being good.  But that is OK. That is the way it goes sometimes. The Patriots just keep rolling. This whole season for the whole league seems to be about not playing bad over playing good.

This is a very well coached team. Not sure what the ceiling is this season but Vrabel & his staff are doing a helluva job.

9-2, seeded 2nd in the AFC behind DEN, due to conference record tie breaker (DEN is 6-2, NE is 5-2 in conference).  Truly amazing.

ESPN has a stat called strength of victory (SOV).  It is the combined winning percentage of teams beaten.  NE is at 0.359, low, but slightly better than DEN (0.354).  IND is not much better at 0.366.  These top AFC team have had low value wins overall.  No denying this.  It is not just NE.
