It's well deserved, I'm sure we're all pulling for him. He somehow manages to give this team whatever we need.

It is a nice gesture, but these new NBA awards are ridiculous.

How can you quantify the best teammate in the NBA?

  • the best teammate should obviously be a handsome dude, since lots of pictures are being made of famous basketball players and you don't want to be publicly acquainted with ugly guys
  • the best teammate has to be able to fight for you in times of trouble, thus a notorious reputation, preferably a criminal record for assault is required
  • the best teammate has to believe in you, therefore a theist of any kind is out of the question
  • the best teammate has to be fun to be around, so any clown experience during his college days is a huge bonus

I have no clue what criteria the NBA uses, but these would be mine

How can you quantify the best teammate in the NBA?

I don't think it is something that is quantified.

TP - looking forward to next episode of Celtics City.  Although, as ai know what happened in 87, I guess I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

Butt smacks and secret handshake routines too.

High fives between each and every free throw (Those annoy me a little...I wouldn't win this award).

Not making a pouty face when you're subbed out

These annoy me a lot. No need for it.

How can you quantify the best teammate in the NBA?
It was first awarded in 2012/13. It is not about quantifying anything.  It is about character.  The award recognizes the league's "ideal teammate" who exemplifies "selfless play and commitment and dedication to his team."  Players know who fits that criteria.

I think Draymond Green should be nominated!
