The Js play so well together.

They were unstoppable at times tonight.   If we can get KP healthy and get back to our Jrue-DWhite-JB-JT-KP-Al-PP-Hauser-Kornet lineup we are going to be HARD to beat in a 7 game series.

Fed the mismatches, didn?t overshoot the three.  Al was terrific. Luke can play good minutes v the Lakers.  KP should be very effective against them.  Hopefully we won?t see them again till 2025-26.

Lakers riding hot with Luka/LeBron while Boston hasn't lost a home game since last Friday. LAL's defense has been superb lately. This could be Austin Reaves and Gabe Vincent typa night. Unfortunately, I think the Celtics are due for a home loss and will drop this game by 10 and get swept for the season series.

Sparz strikes again...everytime he picks against us we win  :police:

Meanwhile, I missed the entire fourth quarter because the cable company is having technical issues. 🙄

Luka actually finished with 34pts on 11-22 FGA 7-8 FTA. Hit 5 threes. He grabbed 8 rebounds but only 3 assists. Stayed at 5 turnovers.

That's the thing - if you don't actually watch the game and just look at the box score, you'd think Luka had a great overall game. But he was targeted defensively on probably close to 75% of defensive possessions, giving up a ton of points due to his awful defense.

Thanks.  I don?t think I can make it through a Celtics-Lakers finals.  Up 20 to start the fourth.  Was hoping that they could do what they seem to never do against top teams - actually extend the lead and let us all breathe easy in the fourth.
I do hate the Lakers - don?t want them anywhere near the Finals whether Cs are there or not.
So glad we won.

There's something about this team going up 20 points.  I would rather them just nurse a 19 point lead

You are lucky. The 4th Quarter was terrible. How you can let a 20 pt lead get down to 4 is bad shots and bad passes while the other team is hitting 3s. We escaped with this one after it should have been a blowout.

Lol ESPN is gonna spend all night saying Doncic wasn't 100% and Lebron left in the 4th

But seriously, when is Luka ever 100% against Boston? There's always some injury excuse with this guy even if he's simply gassed  ::)

Porzingis was out, and Pritchard wasn't at his best offensively

I didn?t see the box score, but DWhite also was not on his offensive game. Clutch save to Jrue near the end though.

And three huge freethrows when the lead was down to 4.

That was an awesome all-around game from Horford too on both ends. 14/9/4

Luka had a terrible first half and opening to Q3. Seemed to pick up late in Q3. Played well Q4.

Jaylen owned Luka for first 3 quarters.

Lebron?s groin worn down! 😝

Sorta like Wilt's knee in 1969, Game 7, 4th Quarter.

Lebron & Wilt. Quitters both.

Lebron makes me sick. Embarrassing that he takes himself out tonite when the Celts started getting their lead back and he figured out he wasn't going to win. His groin wasn't hurting when he made those spinning moves to the basket earlier in the quarter. Then the complete fake "shot to the chin" flop he tried to pull. I have a friend who is a big Lakers fan and he hates Lebron. His gripe is that billionaire Lebron demands a max contract to soothe his ego when even taking half that would have allowed the Lakers to add a couple of important role players that could have made them serious contenders. Think if they had a solid center and one more shooter. They can win all they want right now, but I don't see them making it out of the west, though I would love to play them in the finals and get some revenge for the 2010 title robbery.

We overcame the refs and Luka?s pettiness. And how about Lebron not coming back to the game? And how many times does Mike Breen have to say that Luka isn?t 100%?

I didn't even notice that. I think I block him out at this point.

RJ is the only one I hear during that broadcast. He is new(ish) to the team. I haven't blocked him out yet. Actually, I am liking him so far. Better than most of them.

He was a bit biased against the C's last year, but he's been better since we won. I overall find him entertaining.

Also, I'm an oddball but I actually like Mike Breen. I think he's fairly decent for a national tv broadcaster, especially as a Knick regular.

It's primarily a home issue, though. We just get too comfortable when at home.
