Love Big Al's dedication to running on the break over the last few games.

PAPA AL DELIVERS!

Al quietly having a really good game.

think about the incompetence of the Sixers. They had Al and could not figure out how to use him properly. Now, Embiid barely plays and they have nothing.

This is the issue with the Lakers. When you have both Luka and Reaves out there who are absolutely traffic cones defensively, that's just not a sustainable defensive strategy in the playoffs.

Which is why it's remarkable that the Lakers have been the best defensive team since mid-January.  Obviously that doesn't account for much time with Luka, but still.  Gotta give JJ Redick credit for that.

The problem for the Lakers is that they won't sustain that level of defense when they play a quality opponent with a good plan.  OKC would shred the Lakers.

The Lakers had a good win against Denver, which I'll give them credit for too. But I think it created this illusion that LAL "fixed everything" and suddenly you can already pencil them in for the Finals. I think teams are gonna make adjustments against them soon.

Luka looks big and slow to me. He's struggling to even get past Al at this point.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Btw, we're the team tonight missing a big piece (Porzingis). Hayes and Hachimura, whatever. Yes Hachimura is good, Porzingis is way better

Luka is slow. You just need to stay in front of him, don't fall for his fake, and don't double team him.

This is more like it. This is what the game felt like in the first half. That BOS were far better but LAL were hanging in there.

Now they ain't.
