Think we can put the Brady/Mahomes stuff to rest for a while.

That was domination last night.  Eagles D doing that with 4 man rushes was impressive.  You could tell out of the gate that the Eagles were locked in.  I've never seen Mahomes get that beat up in a football game before.

Will be interesting to see where things go with KC from here.

Isn't he where Tom was? 3-2 in Super Bowls after the Giants losses?

I think Mahomes is right on track to catch Brady, assuming the Chiefs can maintain dominance for another decade.

Brady lost his two Super Bowls (of the first 5 he played in) by 3 pts and 4 pts in games that came down to the last few minutes.

Mahomes has now been blasted in 2 Super Bowls  to the tune of 22 pts & 18 pts.   Justified or not, he's going to wear that on his resume.

Color me skeptical of Mahomes going to 5 more Super Bowls in his career & going 4-1 or better.

And a couple of complete freak plays too.

Then again the Pats had some freak plays go in their favor in their SB wins.  On the whole 6-3 is pretty [dang] good.  Better than 3-2 by any measure.

If people really want a debate, I think the real argument right now should be Mahomes/Montana.  Brady is in another stratosphere at the moment.

Fun fact. Mahomes already has more Super Bowl INTs (7) in 5 SBs than Brady had in 10 SBs (6).

DeAndre Hopkins is a clown for calling out the media over the refs, and also complaining the officiating was poorly done on their side. That phantom OPI call in the Eagles' opening drive was ridiculous and everybody saw the fix coming.

Goes to show that when the officiating was under heavy scrutiny all two weeks, they had to call a fair game. And when you call a fair game, see how atrocious the Chiefs are.

Had an exam today and it was very rough lol (everyone felt the same), but I feel better knowing the Chiefs and Mahomes got blown out last night  8)

Brady GOAT. Gronk > Kelce. Belichick > Reid. Pats > Chiefs. Like it should be.

The Chiefs losing in any way would've been cathartic for me, but it was great to see them get their doors blown off. The Philly defense, especially the pressure the D-line applied all game, was especially awesome to see.

And yes, preventing the 3-peat but also having the Chiefs lose decisively has the added benefit of diminishing their "dynasty" in comparison the Patriots dynasty. The Brady Patriots lost three SBs, but they never got blown out.

I'm in complete agreement with you about the Brady/Mahomes stuff. And let's not forget that last night's 18-point loss was in essence a 34-point loss, because KC's last two scores came in garbage time?the final 6 minutes, when the game was in the bag and the Eagles had a bunch of backups in.

And yeah, it was so gratifying to see a defense completely shut down the Mahomes run plays/last-second shovel passes/otherwise-miraculous stuff that's so frustrating to those of us who dislike the Chiefs.

Hopkins should be more concerned about his wide-open drop that occurred when KC still had a chance.

And this is why the NFL wanted KC in the SB..

Fox Sports is projecting a Super Bowl record average audience of 126 million U.S. viewers across television and streaming platforms for Philadelphia's 40-22 victory over Kansas City on Sunday night.

The game was televised by Fox, Fox Deportes and Telemundo and streamed on Tubi as well as the NFL's digital platforms.

Fox's projections on Monday included Nielsen's early numbers and streaming data from Tubi and the NFL. Updated and more complete numbers were expected on Tuesday.

It would be the second straight year the Super Bowl has reached a record audience. The Chiefs' 25-22 overtime victory over San Francisco last year averaged 123.7 million on CBS, Nickelodeon, Univision and streaming platforms.

According to Fox, the audience peaked at 135.7 million in the second quarter.

Weird, I haven't seen much of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift or Mahomes' family (his wife, etc.)

Anyone put an MIA for them? Where are they?  :P

Last night was basically the Pats/Chiefs 2014 game in Arrowhead, for the Chiefs.

Getting spanked on the road. The look of dejection on their faces. Demoralized. Horrified. I was waiting for Reid to put in Carson Wentz mid 4th quarter.

Hopefully they don't go on a run like the Pats did after that game. Man that felt like yesterday, I remember also feeling deep down "man is this really it". Thankfully nope  :)

Chiefs are gonna have to revamp the team though, because Kelce is likely retiring (or even if he plays, he's honestly cashed). Not many weapons. Chris Jones getting old. O-line is also a mess. Secondary besides McDuffie is mediocre. They have to address a lot and their cap space is limited since Mahomes' and others' contracts will be skyrocketing as well.

Frankly I thought they were lucky to have even made the SB. That felt like a "fake" 15-2 year, they were just getting wins out of their butts (ex. the Broncos GW-FG getting blocked, Raiders botching a snap very late when it looked like a win was coming, etc.). Even the Bills game, what if the refs actually ruled that a 1st down for BUF? They prob score and win the game.
