I think I joined. Have never been on Reddit. So I hope I remember that I have the app now and can navigate to the site in case of emergency. Thank you!!
We?re up to 8 people now so I assume you?re one of them. If you want to double check, you can always respond to the welcome post
I also just joined and also have never been on Reddit. The interface is unfamiliar to me. Is it better to download app rather than using in a browser?
Probably the biggest change to viewing posts/threads is that Reddit is a threaded model, where if you reply to a comment your reply will be indented under it and it will be part of that particular thread/branch. As opposed to traditional forums that have a flat/inline model where every reply just appears in chronological order:

The threaded model is meant to group similar comments and replies together rather than having everything jumbled up in one long scrolling list, especially if it's a broad topic (hint: the Fire Joe thread). The negative is that when a branch gets too busy it can start to "collapse" (where because of size you have to click on it to see the conversations), and because it's not chrono order people tend to just read the top parts of the thread, which tend to be the comments that get the most votes (it usually defaults to being sorted by most votes/likes.).
I just posted that in case people find the Reddit view confusing. I don't think the subreddit is intended to replace our existing beloved CelticsStrong forum, it's just there in case the forum does go down again, our community doesn't disappear with it, so there's really no need to relearn anything until that happens
