That was embarrassing. At this point try to maintain the 2 seed in the east and hope things turn around for the playoffs. Just not a very good team.

This team has become so bad at everything. Defense stinks. Can't make free throws. Can't put mid or bad teams away.

Celtics lost the laker game when they messed around with a G league clippers team and had to go to OT.

Brad needs to make a move at the break to wake this team up. Amazed at how bad D White has been for 2 months now.

At this point it doesn?t seem to matter who the opponent is.  If they put up some semblance of defensive pressure and are able to hit some 3?s the Celtics are going to get smoked or have to avoid completely falling over themselves down the stretch if it ends up being close.

Not a very fun product, but they?ve got to wake up at some point, right?

Oddly it all kind of dates back to Porzingis?s return.

Perhaps even more odd is that Zinger has been mostly playing really well, yet the team hasn't really benefitted from it.

I would rather lose to the worst team in the league than the Lakers. Why can't they get UP for big rival games? Really disappointing.

Exactly. Nevermind losing to the Lakers single-digits, but receiving your worst loss of the season by a 21-point blowout (at one point it was a 30-point blowout I heard) to the Lakers? The PP34/KG/Ray Allen teams would have never allowed that.

Glad they did they blowout at their house and not at the TD Garden. I think we're about to get swept by them with how we play at home.

It's weird. Even last year, with the 64-18 season and 16-3 postseason, we still found a way to lose to the Lebron AND AD-Less Lakers at TD Garden in February with Reaves going off for like 35+ or something.

Defense is unable to kick it up. At least not yet. And they give up second chance opportunities far too often.  Obviously if this is the team we see in the playoffs, they aren?t getting to the ECF never mind competing for a championship.  But I definitely haven?t given up hope that they can kick it up.

Btw, the four straight FT misses by the Jays which would have brought the deficit to eight were just agonizing.

After that embarrassing loss to the Lakers last year, the Cs went on an 11 game winning streak.  Let's hope that the embarrassment of last night will lead to a similar long winning streak.  Let's also remember that even after the loss last night the Cs have the 3rd best offense in the league, along with the 3rd best net rating and 3rd best margin of victory.  It's not the end of the world.
