Need to see more. Definitely not sold on him at this point.
Yeah, I don't think anyone is saying he should in the rotation at this point.  But he's taking advantage of his opportunities and showing some ability.  Good for him and good for the Celtics.

With Springer and Walsh (and Tillman at the 4) not giving the team anything, it's felt like they're in need of another bench wing. Just someone who can reliably play 15 minutes when you need him to and not be a zero out there. I was thinking the C's have to be looking for a veteran with the right salary but maybe Peterson can be that player.

Against the Pistons, Peterson got the quick hook in favor of Walsh?s defense. Walsh showed his continued offensive hesitation/lack of confidence but I guess Mazulla preferred that to Petersons spasmodic defense.

Tough to have the same name as an infamous murderer, but hopefully he?ll put an end to any name shame for other Drew Peterson?s.

I didn't even think that Peterson looked all that good against summer league competition, much less NBA competition.  I am guessing that he had a good run in Portland or something so they decided to give him a try.  As others have said, we don't have a ton of options in that role.  So they are just checking all the boxes, trying different things.  I don't expect that we will see much of Peterson.  He isn't better than Walsh or Tillman or Queta.  He is getting minutes over Watson and Scheierman I guess.
