We went away from what was working and we're paying for it.  It's not primarily Joe's fault, but IMO his substitution pattern has not been good.  We'd be getting smoked this quarter if it wasn't for PP carrying the team on his back.

Because Chicago is sticking to him like glue now, lol.

He's been open on one possession since his explosion - a transition play where Tatum went to the rim instead (he got fouled and went to the line).  It's not like we just randomly froze him out.

So, given that Atlanta beat Cleveland earlier, the Celtics can win this game, but not by a big enough margin and be eliminated ?

You don't want the 12-18 guy with 35 points taking shots?

He's exactly who I want taking the shots.  The only thing I don't like right now is we're getting cute with the clock and not leaving him enough time to actually create a shot.  Even then, the long three he took was on balance - not a silly sidestep or anything.  He just missed it.
