TPs for all! I tuned in late and didn?t realize we were up big. Oh well, still a huge win! Big test for our guys tom as it?s a B2B vs the Clippers.

We almost always do the same thing at the end of quarters or at the end of one-score games - a one-on-one+ dribble, dribble fall-back, contested jumper (usually Tatum). It is inexplicable that an NBA coach cannot come up with creative plays to produce decent shots in those situations.

D White with a really good game...19pts,9rebs,5assists,1stl, and 2blcks also led the team with a +8.

Good defense on the last play. Take the win and move on

What a horrible last possession. That was the best shot we could take?

I get that Joe doesn?t like calling timeouts in that situation because he just wants fluid play where the defense is set, but in that case it was going nowhere

Can?t stand that characteristic of Joe. Anyone with eyes saw that play was going nowhere. Sure, don?t let a good defense get set up, but that?s all out the window if we?re getting down to 7 or 8 seconds and we?re clearly not getting a good look. He?s simply got to be better at helping the guys in those situations and putting them in positions to succeed.

I would be curious to see stats of how many of these end of game or end of quarter possessions where they freestyle it end up where they just pass it to one of the Jays they dribble it out so the defense is set anyway and take a fade away three. Clearly they?re not being very creative

So it?s probably Q and X as our bigs tom? I guess that?s why Q was held out of this game. He?s gonna have to battle it out with Zubac tom.

Had a family event so did not pick up the game until the 3rd quarter when they were up 17. I thought to myself ?oh goodie, Minny does not have it today?. However, it was all downhill from there so it was not a very satisfying win for me. The 3-pt defense was horrible. Edwards is unreal.

I attended - first game of the season. It would have sucked to lose on the last possession and I had the sneaking suspicion it was headed that way.

Holiday didn't play all that great and missed some key shots down the stretch. But the the defense was there, especially at the end. Jaylen seems to take it personally playing against Edwards and did a great job on the final play.

To quote Doc - 'it's a make/miss league' and fortunately they missed the last shot.

I think the T-Wolves come out of the west this season. They're going to have a team that's hard to defend once they figure out how to play with Randle and Divincenzo. They probably need to add a bench scorer still.

Good W for the C's in a game they easily could have lost.
