The three point "trend" as a concern I feel is illusory.
This team has EIGHT elite three point shooters, all of whom are shooting at, or slightly below (or miles below in the case of Jaylen and Sam), their career averages, and we are STILL shooting 11th best in the league from 3. Horford has been shooting slightly above his career average but on relatively low usage.
We are 12-3 despite these early season shooting woes, so I just don't see it being a problem. I will concede that it's kinda ugly basketball, but I don't really care if it means banner 19.
And to further the point. Today Cleveland shot poorly from outside, but that had a lot to do with guarding the 3 point line tightly. The corollory of that is that the paint is more open (and Mobley, Allen, and Spida had countless easy shots at the rim with 1 or no defenders), which is why it was even close. Not to mention some late game heroics.
Stay the course - Jaylen and Sam need to heat up, and I just don't see us easily losing a 7 game series
