Can?t blame Wyc. They?re looking to sell at an all time high and with the team set to compete for the next 2-3 years. Let?s just hope the new owners will be as passionate. Maybe PP could be a minority owner.

Does anyone know how the ownership pie is split? Pagliuca owns a chunk but there are several other miniority partners as well. Some of the current group could look to increase their stakes.

I know that Pags tried to buy Chelsea.  I wonder if he'd have interest in taking on lead ownership.

I know that Pags tried to buy Chelsea.  I wonder if he'd have interest in taking on lead ownership.

He's also the majority owner of Atalanta in Italy's first division. If he was trying to buy Chelsea he's got some serious bucks behind him.

i get that value is at an all time high, but there's got to be some uncertainty on the horizon for all these owners to want to sell within just a few years of each other. they aren't that old. i wonder where they are putting the money where they expect to preserve/grow it better than within their teams' value, which all have fantastic track records of appreciation.

Sounds like Wyc is staying on until 2028 and they don't expect the team to be fully sold until then

I think the asking price will filter out cheap ownership in the short term, but I don?t think the new ownership will care very much.
