I do feel for Tatum. Were I him, I'd be p---ed (and there is a report that he really is). However the most talented teams aren't always the best teams. You need consistent role players who are going to embrace their roles. To that end, Holiday and White were terrific addtions. And the last 2 guys on any team shouldn't be stars. So maybe you have a National team of guys who are always committed to being on it - as in soccer. And your 11th and 12 guys should probably be veteran NBA rotation guys - who aren't stars - but you know exactly what you're getting from them most nights - they can step up when needed, but won't mind possibly not playing.
I do get the sense that politics is at work here not only with the team selection, but with who's playing. It wouldn't at all shock me if these guys get beat at some point, though having Holiday and White may go a long way towards preventing that from happening.
