Maybe we just convert JT into a pass-first PG for the rest of the Finals.

8 assists, 1 turnover for Tatum.  That's getting it done.

His shooting however...

Yeah, this is the thing. For how they're playing him he's generating a lot of points for the team, but it's primarily off the pass and assist.

But I think the coverage has really affected his shot and decisions about how/what shots to take. And the holding/pausing with the ball is just exacerbating the strong coverage of him. If he'd just make his moves as soon as he gets it, it'd stop letting the dang defense adjust and get back in rotations in time.

Tatum facilitating many shots for his teammates and is in on pace for 14 assists and playing strong D and people here want him benched. They are keying on him on D and he is making many great reads and passes. He has evolved as a star. Old Tatum forces shots and has a few assists.

Tatum 8 assists. Dallas 7 assists. The 3s will come. Win the 3rd, probably win the game.

Despite Tatum being 2-10 and the C's being 3-15 from three they lead by 3. Feel like they've generally played better than the Mavericks by a fair bit but the Mavs have made tough shots and the C's have missed open shots.

Tatum's been great passing, but his shooting has been horrible and his defense mediocre. Hasn't brought his usually crazy rebounding either. Sort of an off game from him.

I get it with Tatum not shooting there, but he probably thought that DAL thought he was going to shoot that, and would have an open lane to the hoop. That didn't happen. He has gotten hit on a few of his drives, though.

It's easy to hate on him so far, but 8 assists and 1 TO is great. And they took away another with that foul on the dish to Al for the lay-up.

Jrue taking advantage of the lack of attention, getting to the right spots, and executing. KP cool as a cucumber.

10pts with 2 minute left is too much time for Doncic. Need at least 15-19 points.

Need to get into Lukas chest on defense, hes compromised. JB and Jrue were doing it but Tatum and others have been slacking off worried about the drive for some reason. They need to be more physical on ball when they get switched

Up at half with Luka going off and only 3 made 3's. I'll take it. This game is being played at a very high level by both teams. C's are playing very good offense despite the 3's not going in.
