Luka is too slow to play defense.  He always reaches from behind after he gets beaten.  Keep the ball protected.

Well, if Tatum is going to create wide open shots for others with them collapsing on him every time, they simply have to hit them. We won't win if they continue to collapse on Tatum and the others don't hit the shots.

On the other hand, Good Lord Tatum. Hit the open shots and layups, man.

I think Tatum needs initiate his offence from closer to the basket. I've never liked him in the perimeter unless it's to spread the floor for a catch and shoot.

He's not that good getting to the basket successfully often enough when he's driving from the perimeter. He finds some opportunities on kickouts, but unless he gets bailed out with foul call, the eye test tells me he's not being very efficient in these drives.

One interesting thing that Dallas is doing is that it looks like they're collapsing on both Tatum and Brown now, playing them both with heavy emphasis and trying to make the others beat them. Both the Jays each have 4 assists thus far and only 6 points combined. Interesting strategy.

But we need to be attacking Doncic every time defensively. He's already clearly fatigued, and he's not even trying defensively. We can blow past him every single possession. Make him work!

Why does Tatum insist on making things harder for himself? He has Luka on him and rather than just attack straight away he has to dribble for 5 seconds while the rest of the Dallas defense gets into position behind him. I'm screaming at the TV for Tatum to stop waiting around and attack.

I think Tatum likes the attention and the glory that he gets with more complicated moves.

People need to chill on Tatum. Dallas are playing him VERY tight, and he is making the right play every time.

I?m pretty sick of the excuses for Tatum? we are approaching halftime and he has 2 points. He?s been awful. Of course he?s been played tight, it?s the finals.
