i originally has C's in 6 but changed my mind. we matchup great against this team.

Mavs will play the C's tough. Boston's first real test in a long time. Need to protect home-court and dominate the opposition.

Celtics in 7.

Celtics in 5 but leaning towards 6

Luka won’t keep this scoring up and have to defend. Same with Kyrie.

Dallas will struggle to defend Boston and the fact the Celtics have been there before will be big.

I'm trying to find a way to be worried about this matchup and I just can't. Even if Luka goes supernova the C's have so many more weapons then Dallas. If it gets to Game 7 then I have a reason to worry because Dallas will have the best player in the series. Outside of that I think the C's handle their business. Idk 6 games I guess?

I fully expect the C's to be locked in EVERY game in this series. Luka and Kyrie will have their complete and utter attention.

I voted Celtics in 7 - with the scoring potential of Luka/Kyrie and Tatum/Brown I feel a lot will come down to which duo is hot on the day.

This is however assuming Porzingis is out.  If we do get confirmation that Porzingis is healthy and ready to go for game 1, then I will change this to Celtics in 6.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say we close it at a home in 5. This is just a bad matchup for Dallas, and with KP coming back, us being very hungry to get this done and avenge 2022, and Dallas being a legitimate opponent that we (hopefully won't take lightly), I think we see our best effort and make it a short series. They'll get hot and steal one and make one or two other games close, but I think we take it in a dominant fashion.

For as much crap as we get for having an easy path, I think Dallas' isn't that much harder given the matchups and injuries. LAC was injured without their best player for pretty much the entire series; OKC was a faux contender being so young and inexperienced, as well as a bad matchup; and then Minny clearly was a bad matchup plus exhausted from that Denver series.

I want the C's to celebrate singing "We Are The Champions" at their own parquet. So, it's either in 5 or 7 and 7 sounds reasonable against a well battle-tested Mavs team.

My heart says Celts in 5 or 6. My head and anxiety has me envisioning a game 7 with Kyrie/Luka shredding Al/KP in the pick and roll. We are going to have to try our best to get over on screens.

I'm giving Dallas the benefit of the doubt and going with Celtics in 6. The Celtics match up well with them and could take them in 5, but I can see Luka and Kyrie being the only team to take 2 games from the Celtics in these playoffs. We are far deeper, and a much much better defensive team. They also have nobody that can stop Tatum, Brown, White or Holliday unless you believe the propaganda the media is spinning lately that Luka and Kyrie are suddenly a top defensive backcourt

Celtics in 7 would be the most convenient for me schedule-wise, but I’m fine with something quicker.

I do think we win this series tho.  We’ve been the best team all year long, and while the Mavs have played great the last couple of months, they haven’t faced a team that can put pressure on all 5 defenders every possession, which ultimately will make Luka and Kyrie’s defensive inconsistency come home to roost.
