Hate these announcers making excuses for Miami.  How about more praise for the best team in the NBA.

If Tatum did not get hurt in Game 7 last year, we win that game. SIGH

Agreed, though I don't think we were beating Denver last year regardless. We give them more of a challenge than Miami did, but it's hard to see that team beating Denver, especially with all of our injuries to Brogdon, Timelord, etc.

Our defense has been dominant. If we maintain the defensive effort and focus nobody is beating us

Not many people know this but apparently Tatum sprained his ankle and it was swollen for a week after, so even if we advanced, Tatum was very likely missing 2-3 games to start the Finals. Was just an unfortunate end all around.

Yeah we weren't beating Denver last year. We'd at least make it a series though unlike the Heat. We didn't even have KP while we had broken down Timelord, Brogdon, etc.

So Celtics are up by 23. Brown, White, Holiday and Horford haven’t played particularly well, and people keep complaining about them.
The negativity around here sucks

Wouldn't be C's Strong without poo-poo Pattys.

Up 32 after 3. Were still in it…

3rd quarter def was much better than the end of the 1st half.   We didn't let guys just run down the lane for layups and we didn't have 2-3 guys dogging it getting back on def.  Just do the basics and we are an incredible team.

I do think the next 12 minutes are key. You don't want to give the young heat players any sense of "we figure something out even though we lost."

I think we win the series either way, but it could go from a 4 game series to a 6 game series.

Love the rebounding by Tatum and Brown. That will be important to our success in the playoffs I feel.
Agree. I thought the Heat had some potential to beat us pretty good on the boards because it's been a problem at times during the season. But when they focus on it, their rebounding is fine. Tatum especially I don't think gets enough credit for that.
