Here comes the losing streak and where the bucks take over the Celtics for the top seed

Bro, even for you this is ridiculous and non-sensical. We are literally 8 losses up on the Bucks after this loss. It would take an absolute meltdown plus a record-setting pace for Milwaukee to catch us.

Reading some of these replies, you'd think this team was scrapping for a play-in spot. The entitlement of Boston fans never ceases to amaze me.

13th loss of the season. In March. Take a deep breath and a sip of water.

Coaching fail.

And it's always the same mistake

Same as always. Just an inability to do anything to change a run down the stretch and consistent wrong decisions when the game is on the line.

Not sure how you can feel confident with him as our coach. As good as we are, he just completely folds down the stretch. Absolute idiot.

The best hope we have is games don't get tight in the playoffs.

playoffs will always be tight

we better buckle up

joe just cannot handle this job

it is like watching someone drown and no life preserver thrown out

i am not sure what that clown is thinking at times

At some point I think the players need to just call the timeouts themselves and then call their own play in the huddle.

Denver is going to beat the brakes off Boston Thursday

Going to be a disaster of a road trip

I don't agree with this at all.  Cavs get red hot and we let down in the 4th has NO impact on what happens the rest of the trip.

It does because it shows weakness and they will be playing better teams,

Why are you basing the future on 1 game, instead of the 10 previous ones before that.  That isn't logical.

Denver is the best team they will have played over the past 11 games. As is phoenix.

They don’t beat Denver in Denver. Tonight showed the nasty bad habits they have

I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team lose up by 22 with 8-ish minutes left in the game. It’s understandable to be shocked by this loss.

And also be disappointed with the late game execution - which is literally everybody’s biggest fear with this group.

Milwaukee will be within striking distance when they come to Boston. Boston is due for a losing streak

This will henceforth be known as the Dean Wade game.

Truthfully I didn't think we played well all night.  Offense couldn't get much going unless Tatum or Brown or KP hit something difficult.  We built a lead out anyway because Cleveland had no firepower without Mitchell, but a random explosion by a random roleplayer bit us.  It is what it is.

If you take fan allegiance out of the equation, this is one of the upsides of modern basketball.  A large lead is never safe because some nobody can hit six threes and flip the game on its head.  That unpredictability is exciting.  Sucked that it happened to us tonight but we move on.
