Let’s get Jordan his first points!

I'd rather wait until we play Milwaukee, so if the situation calls for it Walsh can steal the game ball from Giannis.

My guess is we don’t see KP for a bit with that sprained ankle. Might motivate Brad to go get someone at the deadline.

I didn't think of that. A blessing in disguise ? Because I don't think we need to get too happy with our fragile roster.
Still need some help inside, injuries or not. Even the '08 team needed PJ Brown when the playoffs started.

Unfortunately it’s not going to be anyone good because we’re over the second apron and can’t get anyone who was making more than the NtMLE in the buyout market and we can’t get anyone good in trade unless we give up someone good  :-\

Understood. The CBA does more harm than good. It's wise to have some structure and limits in place, but to have something so complicated that a contending team is prevented from adding a quality rotation 15 mpg player off the bench is ridiculous and penalizes solid team management like the Celtics have done the past several seasons. We didn't invite all our best friends from the All-Star game to come play on the same team with us the way Lebron and Kyrie have done in the past.

Golden State certainly took advantage of it before it was revised, that's for sure  :-\

From what I’ve read, we can only sign players who are bought out if their salary is 12.5M and below. That’s why guys like Gordon Hayward and Kyle Lowry are out of the picture.

No 3rd quarter let down tonight with 36 points.

He went back to the bench to rejoin the team, so hopefully it’s just a mild sprain. He was laughing on the bench too.

Porzingis said his ankle is “not too bad” and that’s he’s feeling pretty good. Said he could’ve returned if needed.

Great news!

KP post game interview saying he could have come back into the gamer if needed, but given they were leading by so much they played it safe. He’s expecting it to swell up during/ after the flight but right now it feels ok. Says it might be a day to day thing depending on how much it swells

NBA stat of the day #369:

Heading into today there were 124,646 team games with shooting data in NBA history

1 team had ever shot 80% TS

The Celtics just became the 2nd 🤯

The Celtics shooting tonight:

— 51-80 FG (63.7%)
— 22-40 3P (55%)
— 19-20 FT (95%)

2nd-most efficient game by a team in NBA history, with an 80.5 TS%

We still shoot too many threes, but when they're going in at this clip it's pretty historical. Literally only one other team has been this efficient in a game.... in NBA history.

Certainly felt like it watching the game. Miami hung in for a half but the C’s couldn’t cool if they wanted too lol

They also had 36 assists, many of which were on those threes. They moved the ball pretty well tonight and had the Heat in rotation a lot. Not to mention their perimeter defense has really dropped off. I suspect when advanced logs are available we will see a lot of those 3s were open.
