Towns at 53 with 7:40 to go in the third.

I think we underestimate just how BAD the SAS/DET/CHA/WAS/POR group is. There have been some absurd performances against those teams.

I love these plays against Grant and Kyrie...
although I still like Grant a lot more than KI.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

dead legs?  or maybe just not using his legs when he is shooting the fts
bend the knees a bit maybe?  then JT did the same exact thing missed two, and the first one was really short

Should be no excuses for JT and JB to miss free-throws. Those are basically gimme free-points there. And for their positions, they should be at least 90% at the line.

Ya it's the 11th game in 18 days for them, legs may be an issue.

Tho both guys have been streaky from the line this year. Brown in low 70's, Tatum around 80ish which is about 5% below last year.

90% from the line is a VERY high bar. There are like 6 guys in the entire NBA shooting 90% from the line.

I don't really get why Brown struggles from the line the way he does, especially given he has such a sweet 10-16 foot jumper. Maybe he should shoot every free throw as a turn and fade?

Pritchard brought some great energy in the first half.
