Thanasis is such a clown. Imagine riding your brother’s coattails that hard and still acting like that when you’re ultimately just a professional cheerleader at this point.

This is going to hurt that point differential of theirs.

I wouldn’t have played our starting five .  They could have suited up entered the game and walked back to the bench. NBA plays too many games , should be no back to backs , that’s extra risk not necessary.

I bet Joe and team will get fined for benching their stars in the 2nd half, causing ratings to drop etc

Maybe the NBA should fine the schedule-makers instead.

I’m not one to blame B2B’s usually. A game like this shouldn’t have the home team with 2 days off and the road team flying in on a B2B. These are two premier teams and this happens too frequently.

Milwaukee treated this one like a playoff game. Celtics looked flat-footed from the get.

I don’t know why the NBA schedules games the way it does. Is there no way to avoid back-to-backs, 3 games in 4 nights, 5 games in 7 nights, etc.? A game like tonight’s is really a waste of everyone’s time. The Bucks proved nothing, as they beat a severely weakened opponent, the Celtics only made themselves more tired, and Cs fans were “treated” to a glorified preseason game. Yuck.

Bucks fans acting abit ridiculous on twitter. Congrats you beat a Celtics team coming off a back to back that played 5 games in 7 nights. You are still in #2

Celtics shot 32% and6% from 3. Clearly it’s an outlier game

We’ll see when we meet again in March. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them slip again on this upcoming tough schedule for Milwaukee. Golden state, Sacramento kings, cavs.

It's still only one loss and we still only have single digit losses...

Shhh….the crowd looking for anything negative wants to ignore context and use this as an “I told you so!”

Honestly, it’s a bad loss. But anyone can clearly see the Celtics just looked tired. i'm not one for excuses, but I feel like you can't pretend like the factors below don't matter...

5 games in 7 nights coming off a back to back AND traveling to face a top tier team who had 2 days of rest (and was at home their last game I believe) and wants this game bad after losing 3 in a row always going to be tough.

It’s not like we lost from bad habits. It was tiredness and bad scheduling. 32% from 2 and 6% from 3.

Move on, go home, rest up and beat the rockets at home tomorrow night.

but i blame the NBA schedule makers. you knew before the season that the celtics/bucks would be a marquee matchup. why waste it by having one team well rested at home and the other playing 5/7 games and back to backs against tough playoff teams and having to travel?

its a waste of a national game.

This was a scheduled loss. Even Mr. First Quarter, Jaylen Brown, looked gassed at the start.

On to the next one fellas, nothing to see here

Everyone still just making excuses?

Celtics wanted this game which I’m assuming is why they didn’t play Porzingis against Minnesota. He was fresh and ready to go against Milwaukee. We got absolutely smoked.
Milwaukee is a legitimate threat and if it comes to a 7 game series people need to stop pretending as if they wouldn’t have a chance. Laughable.

Thanks for letting me know, I won't watch the replay. I shut it off after the 1st quarter; knew it would be a loss from the get-go.

Who has said they wouldn't have a chance IN A 7 GAME SERIES? Celtics got beat. It happens. They play 82 games. These happen. Just move on. It is January. Can you remember any of the games from last January?

We get it. You have more faith in the Bucks than the Celtics. Cool.

My guess is if the Bucks had played a back to back and been beaten badly by Boston last night with Boston having several days off at home to rest and prepare..and the Bucks playing their 5th game in 7 days (most of them on the road), you would have given the Bucks the benefit of the doubt and downplayed the C's big win.

Last season Boston beat the Bucks by 41 in March. So games like this do happen.
