Not sure how the NBA can be happy with refs deciding the winner at the end of the game.

Either call the fouls both ways or let them play. It’s the inconsistency that kills me.

Another close game, another opportunity for Joe to blow a late game obvious timeout call by sitting on his hands, which we don’t even get a shot off. Great job, great  effort. 🙄

I couldn’t watch the game. Followed along on my phone. When should Mazzula have called the time out?  When we got the ball with 12 seconds left?

That would be my first choice, or with 5 or 6, when anyone watching could see the play was going nowhere.
Only difference tonight was it was Brown going ISO instead of Tatum

Definitely looks like some inconsistency between  the JB overturned foul and the KP foul, but we shouldn’t have been in that position anyways. The shot JB took was too early and in tons of traffic that was bailed out by the foul call.

It’s the exact same type of  crap iso shot that we always let Tatum take without setting anything up. Could’ve got a much better shot with a set play and action, while also not leaving as much time on the clock. Typical poor end-game decision that just never works out for us.

How was that not a jump ball when the refs reversed the foul call and took Brown's free throws away? The ball was in the air when the whistle blew, nobody had possession.

This game reminded me not to be naive. When there’s a lot of money on the line, human beings will do corrupt things. I don’t know any better explanation for what I saw tonight. It’s not that I’m convinced tonight was corrupt. I’m just so dumbfounded and perplexed by what I saw, to the point that it makes me wonder.

Earlier this season in the English Premier League soccer competition, one of their top referees was demoted by their independent referee review panel after they decided he had made an incorrect decision that cost Wolverhampton a win.

Anthony Taylor, one of the Premier League's most recognisable referees, has been demoted to the Championship for this weekend's fixtures.

The 45-year-old was at the centre of a refereeing storm last Saturday after giving a penalty to Newcastle in their 2-2 draw against Wolves at Molineux. The Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel believes it was the incorrect decision.

PGMOL, who are led by 2010 World Cup final referee Howard Webb, have responded by demoting Taylor. He will referee Preston's Championship game against Coventry at Deepdale instead of a Premier League fixture as punishment for the blunder.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil has urged PGMOL to improve the standard of refereeing in the wake of last Saturday's howler. Taylor is the third referee to be demoted to the Championship this season after making an incorrect decision against Wolves.

It appears the English Premier League are committed to holding their match officials accountable for their mistakes. Will the NBA do the same to the referees of our game, Crew Chief James Williams, Michael Smith and Derek Richardson, for their mistake? Or will it be swept under the rug like it always does and the referees will continue to be able to make mistakes with impunity?

They have the Wolves at home next followed by a b2b night AT Milwaukee. I don't like the looks of that, this could get ugly real quick esp if they drop 3 in a row.

About 15 minutes after Mazzulla voiced his frustration, a smiling and relieved Hield stood in Indiana’s locker room and did not dispute his recollection.

“I mean, I told Joe what I told Joe,” he said. “But they have three refs out there and they had the replay center, and that’s what replay is for, I guess. I was thinking I might have hit [Brown] a little bit, but they have three refs out there and they have cameras and they slow down the angles of it. I felt like it was not excessive contact. I know I touched the ball, I maybe nicked Brown in the head a little bit. I’m not too sure.”

About 15 minutes after that, Brown’s frustration was palpable as he delivered a rare, searing rebuke of the sequence. He insisted that he had been hit in the head. He said that when he asked referee crew chief James Williams if the review had shown that, Williams told him it had not.

“And that’s what [ticked] me off, because I know I got hit in the head,” Brown said. “And you see on the replay, it’s pretty obvious I got hit in the head. Then you look me in my eye and tell me that I didn’t. I think that needs to be investigated. Cost my team a game and of course I’m [ticked] about it.”

We do play very well against the bucks typically but what is this crap where everyone is saying the bucks are terrible and we are clear favorites? There’s like a 3 game difference between us. Nonsense.
